In most RPGs you play as the monster-hunting adventurer/warrior, who slays daily to earn his keep and purchase strong armor and goods. In Bargain Heroes, the tabletop game from Renegade Game Studios, you experience the story from the opposite perspective…you’re the shopkeeper that the heroes rely on.
This task turns out to be just as difficult as the monster-slaying life, if not harder. Draft item cards to fill your shelves, and make sure everything is well-stocked and available. You’ll also have the other players in the game to think about…each player is tending their own shop, and only the one with the most attractive goods and deals will rope in the wealthiest warriors.
