AVGN/James Rolfe's Mirror World Counterpart is HGVN (Happy Video Game Nerd aka Derek Alexander)...who reviews sleepers and games you never heard.
So far he reviewed...
Metal Storm (NES)
Journey to Silius (NES)
Star Tropics (NES)...this marks the first appearance of his Alexander's sidekick, "Neckbone", who is the Mirror World counterpart of Rolfe's sidekick, "**** Pickle"
Splatterhouse Trilogy (Arcade, TG-16, Genesis)...my favorite review from him thus far, love that series
Wild Guns (SNES)
Little Nemo the Dream Master (NES)
Like with Rolfe downing beer at the end of the segment, Alexander raises a glass of wine to viewers.
A carbon copy of HVGN would probably be the Irate Gamer who not just bashes bad games, but points out bad games in franchises or negatives of good games...examples are his reviews of US version Super Mario Bros 2/Doki Doki Panic, the Tengen/NES version of Tetris, and Contra. He's funny mainly because he killed the Duck Hunt Dog...LMAO:laugh:
