Four kittens in all. And they're so cute this morning. All fluffy fur.

Is it legal for me to go find a stray cat take it to the vet get it cleaned up and have it as a pet?

Yes. Just be careful. Alot of stray cats are feral and dont make good house pets. If you're looking for a cat check your local shelter. Right now they are overloaded with cats and most of them are giving them away for free (already spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines) as long as you past the application process.
