It is the Twitter account of the Paul Anderson RE movies, and that makes me worry. This movie promises to be closer to the source material. They promise to have actual canon characters instead of a self insert Mary sue like Alice. Alice never existed in the games. That’s why there is a hostile division between game fans and Alice fans.
What do game fans feel about Alice? Let’s say there is a movie titled Batman, but when you watched the movie, Batman is not there. A fanfiction character replaces him instead. Then in the sequels, Batman becomes the sidekick of the fanfiction character...
