Armor That Wins You Over.

I can't get over how much Decade has gone form one of the most hideous pieces of armor I've seen to really falling in love with it.

Everything from color scheme to design was nothing short of hideous at first, but now.... looking at my SH Figuarts figure at work... I love it.

Did it win over anyone else?

And what other armors have won you over?

What arms have YET to win you over?

Decade is a good design overall. It's just that the pink color scheme throws it off.

I have to say that pretty much all the Showa suits won me over.

I always thought they look kinda silly and stupid especially V3 and Kamen Rider 1 and 2 with ther big Helmets.

But since last weekend I really LOVE the Showa Rider designs...except for stronger he´s still goofy xD

But V3,X and Black look really awesome.

I thoguht (and still kinda think) Decade's armor is bulky in all the wrong places. Thigh armor looks uncomfortable, the shoulders are too bulky... the whit just seems slapped on and out of place, and his Ride Booker is teeeeeeerrible. It's just a metal stick with a brick slapped on to it.

Buuuuut....... given the context and the in-suit actor giving the costume such presence..... it's wone me over and I love it... for some reason.

Complete Form is still crap to me.

Psyga, Blade J Form and DarkWing Wing Knight's armor. I really like to glide in the air with those.

well beingg a person who like goes all OwO at kamen rider I often found it hard to hate designs XD because in essence they're all actually quite good, like even those least liked by the fandom such as deno I love how they incoporate the imagins and the whole armor actually forming all four forms instead of super switching ala black and kuuga.

Though one rider design I didn't like at the start was riderman, but gradually as a I read spirits and well all the footage surrounding the film I like it and hoping one day he appears in a show or movie where he uses his machine gun arm XD

For some reason I liked Decade's armor from the start, even the color scheme.

I'm the same way. The only issue I had with it at first was..."Pink?", which was a minor grievance, but damn it, they made it work. I'd prolly say Den-O's armor was really iffy for me at first, but I fell in love with the characters and the personalities of each of Den-O's forms...it just fits so perfectly, IMO.
