Are we ever satisfied?

Before i start this thread i dont mean to offend anyone or any group or such.

Recently there have been a lot more fan subs groups popping up, which is great, the only problem is subs r in constent demend, if we got one series we want an other now ino this rant is bit pointless 2 sum ppl but i think the subbers will agree, Older sentai is being subbed E.G. maskman and jetman have just been subbed with turboranger on the way.

a lot of people wish to see older sentai subbed as they dont no wat i will be like as they havent seen a power rangers verson of it, as well as more recent sentai to see the diferences between the 2.

now my only complaint about subbers is that hardley any thing metal heroes is subbed, bar one ep of gavan and sum hks of the 2 space sheriffs and dubbed solbrain that all we have of metal heroes.

Goranger: ep1 subbed as well as the 4 movies
Dynaman: 6 eps dubbed although wiki say 8
Bioman: full series dubbed
Changeman: 5 ep subbed by TV nihon
Maskan: full series subbed
liveman: 14 eps subbed so far
Fiveman: 6 eps subbed i fink
Jetman: full series subbed
Zyuranger: half series subbed by the same guy who subbed timeranger
Dairanger: ten eps subbed by TV nihon
kaku: 1 ep subbed
Ohranger: 2 eps
carranger:1ep
megaranger: 3 eps i think
timeranger-go-onger: all subbed

so there is a fair amount of sentai avialibale

now just to make my self clear i partly made this thread for my point but also this thread can be used for people to express there views on the fan subbing world and also to post wat other toku is subbed :buttrock:

There was one recent...er metal heroes (i think) series i saw pics of when I was first getting into toku that looked really cool, surprising for all the other stuff of that time, the suit was kind of metally and silver and grey and stuff... xD But my friend broke it to me that it wasn't subbed

That was probably Gavan, the first Metal Hero.

I think the first two or three episodes were subbed a while ago. I know I'll probably get stoned for this, but personally I wouldn't bother, of all the Metal Hero shows I've seen, I've only thought three of them (Jiraiya, Blue SWAT, B-Fighter) didn't bore the crap out of me.

That looks cool, but I don't think it's exactly the one I was thinking of.

To be honest most tokusatsu isn't "really good"... Be it the current ones, the old ones, the low budget indie ones... so be happy that some of what has been subbed is some of the good stuff.

How on earth did you find Spielban and Metalder boring, assuming you have seen them?

Tokusatsu (henshin heroes more specifically) is actually my favorite sci-fi medium, so I would say most of them are good. A lot better than most dime-a-dozen anime series out there and I tend to enjoy them more than sci-fi from other countries (I think Doctor Who is the only non-Japanese one that comes close for me). But yeah, before I ramble, shows like Kamen Rider X, Kamen Rider Agito, Kamen Rider Hibiki, Ultraman Gaia and others will always be better than most other shows to me.

How on earth did you find Spielban and Metalder boring, assuming you have seen them?

Metalder was mildly entertaining, but it felt too rushed towards the end (which I guess is the fault of cancellation) but it had an amazing final episode at least. Generally though, Metal Hero shows don't grab me, I find the protagonists to be incredibly bland and the stories just don't appeal too much to me, at least not in the way those series present them. I love the visuals, especially the Rescue Heroes trilogy suits, but I feel those are always wasted on lackluster series.

How bad ARE HK subs? Also, which Sentai series have full series HK subs?
