Are PC games still popular today?

Black Ranger RX

I don't have low self esteem.
Because when I walk into a shop there's very little shelf space compared to the Wii, PS3 AND X360.

Also are there other games to play other than World of Warcraft? I know there is but it seems to me like WOW has taken over the PC like Reality TV shows taken over MTV, and most of the other games to play seem very uninteresting to me.

Yeah, but mostly in European countries and in the MMORPG arena.

That's funny because I livbe in the UK (which is part of Europe), and as I said PC games have very small shelf space here. Maybe they're more popular in countries like Germany or France or Italy...

I don't see people buying them often(Doesn't mean that there aren't people who buy them) but my EBs and the best buy where I work still have sections for them.

No, in Germanyits most the same.
Only Low Price Games and the Great Hits are well selling.

I think bit by bit PC Games are beaten by Consoles.

How big are they compared to Wii, PS3, etc..

At best buy:

It's a single 3-layered to 4 layered shelf, as long as the 360 shelf.

EB:
The have one or two display racks for newer games, and one shelf for older games. I don't really shop for PC games much, any more mostly because my computer can't play most of them.

I don't really shop for PC games any mor,e so I never really pay attention

Its because most PC games you can just buy off steam or some other service and download it straight to your computer. Rather than going to the store and getting a bunch of discs. Most quality MMO's you just download straight to your computer. Its the new age pal, we can have our video games delivered to us digitally from the comfort of our living room.

Eeehhh WoW has just been advertised to hell, its official servers are not that popular in the "diehard" MMO community. If you ask me the most popular PC games out there right now is pretty much Source, Team Fortress 2, and Starcraft.

Spore is also pretty popular, apparently.

Half-Life 2 is a good one as well. Left 4 Dead's PC community is pretty popular as well. Must be the custom maps(really creative ones out there).
