Women are women everywhere. Just because someone seems sweet/nice/cute doesn't mean they really are. I knew a guy who had been through two failed marriages and insisted that from now on he would only ever date a Swedish woman - then he married one who screwed him over in the divorce and ran back to Sweden. You don't wanna be that guy.

The moral of this story is:

Don't marry someone who needs a greencard. :laugh:

I'm from Singapore but I've spent most of my life in the UK. The OP's American, so he's safe from me :laugh:

EDIT: Just hit up my local Craigslist for the lulz and there's all sorts of personals ads from guys with ridiculously specific physical requirements for a girlfriend. Maybe the OP should try there? If his only criterion is "Asian", it at least makes him look better than the dudes specifying what shoe size and bust measurement the woman of their dreams should have

Most people on here are American, I tend to assume other posters are American unless they say otherwise ...

If the OP's around, another way to meet girls would be to just make some Asian friends and ask if they know any single ladies. Check before you hit on a random gal that her brother and/or boyfriend is not around.

My guess would have been any of a thousand different "hot Asian singles!" dating websites.

OT and for serious: While I've never had an Asian girlfriend, I do have (pretty shallow) reasons for being interested in having one at some point in my life, provided she's a nice person with good interests/likes/dislikes and all that jazz. Of course, that's my goal regarding any girlfriend, so I guess it's all about it being an exotic thought :laugh:

I'll admit I'm a little biased when it comes to girls I find cute just 'cause meeting someone new within your own race, it's easy to assume you'll have something in common right off the bat.

But women are women, if they have to they will **** inside your heart no matter what ethnicity they are. Find someone who wants to try; be someone who'd rather fix the problem instead of throwing it away. Be a guy who wants to make a person stay, be their happy thought.
