Anyone here read the Kamen Rider Manga?

Along with watching V3 I also discovered that Kamen Rider has a manga. I just started reading it. So far the plot of the manga screams "D-D-D-Decade" The main character is named Taki, He travels the world to meet up in the affairs with the first ten Kamen Riders and their stories take up after their shows are over, y'know. Ichigo-ZX. Anyway. Taki goes around the world to help the Riders in their fights. The plot is like 20% like Decade only that Taki isn't a Kamen Rider, Each Rider takes two chapters. (Like in Decade 2 episodes) I'm up to Kamen Rider Super-One. I'm just wondering if anyone else is reading this manga. Or even knows about it. and If so where are you up to?

Lol Kamen Rider spirits is so awesome, you get a feeling of EPIC like in each chapter

The one you're talking about is Kamen Rider Spirits (there's a lot of different Kamen Rider manga), and I'm up to...whatever the latest chapter is. The magazine it was originally in was cancelled, but it moved over to another one. Except now it's "New Kamen Rider Spirits" and they're doing a flashback story to get new readers acquainted with everything.

I've read them until Super-1. It was fun, yet there is um... a little "gore" in the manga...

Erm. If you mean Spirits, yeah... Hong Kong has already published till Vol. 16.

What you are reading now is just a prelude of a bigger happening. Like a Greak Shocker of sorts.

Now it's just about Taki gathering the old Riders to deal with and impending crisis, while offering abit of follow-ups after their respective series.

After the 9 Riders, the story finally focuses on the comic's star - ZX, and the grand organization that's behind it emerges. It tells of ZX's struggles to become a good guy, after been brainwashed and converted into a cyborg.

Lots of cool fights between him and Rider 1 and Rider 2.

After that, he is constantly on the path of redemption, earning the trusts of the Riders and humans alike.

Then the next phase of the plot tells how Taki formed a special task force named Spirits, with ZX accompanying them, and occasional other Riders joining in to lend a hand.

And yes, there are alot of scenes which can't be seen on TV. Like X being ripped in half, Stronger a hole in his chest, Amazon's left hand being ripped off, V3 almost dying after using a forbidden skill (imagine the turbines of his belt fell out, and blood spilled out from the 2 belt holes).

The latest volume focuses on Amazon. Now awaiting the next volume to see his fate (cos I think in the comics they mentioned that he would die if he lose his Gigi Armlet)

I highly recommend this comic for true Masked Rider fans.

I'm up to the part where ZX fights the triple-kaijin thingy. It's pretty damn awesome, and the reason why ZX and V3 are my favorite Showa riders in addition to their series and movie :thumbs:

Of course, they're cyborgs. SPIRITS is easily the best Kamen Rider manga out there (though I really like the Kamen Rider Gaia light novel thing from what I've read), it would be great to see it released in English in physical form one day, I can't stand reading comics on the computer.

So are they "new chapters"? Or are they just re-posting chapters from Spirits?
