Any import game stores in NorCal?

Does anyone in the Bay Area part of Northen California know if there's an import games store? (has to be from San Francisco to Sacramento area only) a reason is I want to buy a Radiant Red PSP cheap and to avoid import costs.

are there any play-n-trade's in your area?

the owner of the one here in stockton buys import games (sometimes) and had a couple in stock. i've never actually made use of this service, but at one point they did have a kiosk in the mall selling imports. i've asked the gamestop people here and that's the store they directed me to as well. you may want to just call your nearest gamestop and ask them directly :D they're friendly people most of the time.

try looking into that and/or calling around :D

most of my import games i get from playasia or yesasia when i order online, and when i'm at home i go to toys 'n joys and buy my imports there ^^

however... since u're trying to avoid import costs, may i ask what u're trying to avoid? is it the shipping costs? keep in mind that all places are going to have a certain mark up on their products because they themselves have to import it. it may be slightly cheaper to buy on your own, it may not be. you would have to research it.

is this out of the range you wanted? (asian version)

keep in mind that yesasia has free shipping on international orders.

anyhow i hope that helped a bit ^^b

EDIT:
this is a bit cheaper, but play-asia ships out from asia, so watch out on shipping!

truthfully, looking around the market a bit for you rightnow. it would be cheapest if you bought it from amazon.co.jp and used a middleman to help you get it to the states. because i believe videogames and their consoles are restricted from being shipped abroad. at least via their site :3

I'm in Fairfield (which is between SanFran and Sacra) so no import stores here in this area but thanks for telling me about the store in Stockton you told me about... mind if I get the name of the shop, its address, email add, (and if ever) its shop URL?

Yup, trying to avoid shipping. Also wondering if they have the PSP color available in that shop.

There are quite a few in SanFran actually. I can't think of their names right now but if you head into china town you'll find a few

Chinatown's/Little Tokyo's are usally good places to find import stores.
I bought a Super Famicom from one years ago.

True, and I know specifically that there are a few in SFs china town area, my ex girlfriend used to work at one of them.

I know of two places (a store and a site) and they're located in San Jose. One of them is three stores down from the Mitsuwa (675 Saratoga Ave. San Jose, CA 95129) and the other one has a site, but I believe you can pick it up at their office. I'll have to ask my nephew about the second store.

I'll wait for your next reply, but I wonder if both sells JP PSPs (esp. my fan-fave Radiant Red one).
