Anime that could work as live-action

A lot of the stuff mentioned seems way too high-budget to be done well as a live-action.

I would say Kokoro Toshokan wouldn't be that hard to do as a live action, although I doubt it'd be very interesting to most.

Patapata Hikousen no Bouken would also be great. But that could run up kinda high in budget. Not as high as some of the other titles people mentioned but doing a lot of on-location filming would run up the tab.

I think Tekkaman Blade could be done well as Toku. It wouldn't be that high budget. The designs I imagine would probably look something like MSR though.

Well assuming that budgets would not be a problem then here are my choices.

Hellsing
King of Bandits JIng
Full Metal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop (This would be very easy to do!)
Lupin The 3rd (If only I could be so lucky)
.HACK//
Flame of Recca
Hunter x Hunter
Gunsmith Cats
Youre Under Arrest
Tenchi Muyo
Shaman King
Patlabor
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Beet The Vandel Buster
Bleach
FLCL (would actually disturb people in a whole new medium !)
Noir
Rahxephon
Samurai Champloo
Serial Experiments Lain
-----------------------------
All I can think of right now.I'm still in shock that cowboy Bebop hasn't been made into a live action series yet,or that Lupin the 3rd has no live action stuff those two along with afew others lsited would be extremely easy to make considering the anime was pretty realistic.

- Tekkamn Blade as Bueno said, would make an AWESOME toku
- Skullman is something I've always wanted to see done

Tekkaman Blade (aka Teknoman on UPN) is a dead giveaway...
Also, hey can do a "KR the 1st" type rendition of Skullman.

I would actually like to see a better-made "Fist of the North Star" movie

Me too. Although that film was pretty crappy, it, along with 'The Story of Riki', prooves that a good FotNS movie could be made in the hands of the right people.

Most of those would be ridiculously expensive. And some of those would just be impossible no matter what. Giant robots will never be done as good in live-action as it is in anime.

I didn't add CB because I think Bebop works better as an anime than it ever could as a J-Drama or the like. Even though he was based on a real actor, there's no person on Earth that could ever be as cool as Spike Spiegel.
