Anime that could work as live-action

Okay, we all know about anime that have gone to live-action and still worked, (GTO, Initial D) but I was wondering if there were any others that could work as live-action.

My ideas thus far:

-Trigun
-Ghost in the Shell
-Rurouni Kenshin (if they had a large budget)

I didn't add CB because I think Bebop works better as an anime than it ever could as a J-Drama or the like. Even though he was based on a real actor, there's no person on Earth that could ever be as cool as Spike Spiegel. ;) I also took out anime that I thought would be cheesy if it were anything but anime, like Air Gear.

Isn't there a rumor already out there about GITS being made into a toku series between 12 and 26 eps? I could have sworn I came across that rumor on some forum not to long ago.

Wiki doesn't have anything about it, so it must not be a widely-known rumor, but it wouldn't surprise me to hear somethign about that.

Yeah i heard something about GITS too. You never know, they could be keeping it hush hush for now. Good choices on shows btw.

Spriggan, Bio-Booster Armor Guyver, and...

Guyver got a movie or two. I don't remember if they were GOOD or not though, 'cause I haven't seen them in years.

And..:buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: Tekkaman Blade would be SOOOO fucking awesome as a Tokusatsu series.

Thanks.

- Tenchi could work, it's got what could be a big JDrama aspect and toku as well
- Tekkamn Blade as Bueno said, would make an AWESOME toku
- Cyborg 009 would work pretty well
- Skullman is something I've always wanted to see done
- GitS for all the reasons above

A lot of the stuff mentioned seems way too high-budget to be done well as a live-action.

I would say Kokoro Toshokan wouldn't be that hard to do as a live action, although I doubt it'd be very interesting to most.

Patapata Hikousen no Bouken would also be great. But that could run up kinda high in budget. Not as high as some of the other titles people mentioned but doing a lot of on-location filming would run up the tab.
