No. This is the internet. I don't care of your/other people's opinions becuase I'm not the one who has to look at the faces of these people giving them. All they can do is type there rough opinions of me on there keyboards. All I can do is read them, and act is that if I really care. In person, I do care about the opinions. No, sorry. Since I've got a cable modem, I get all my fansubs with BT and sites like BoxTorrents and AnimeSuki.

Blah. Isohunt forever. Both those sites (well, at least Boxtorrents, AnimeSuki was always that way) bowed to the knee of anime companies who have a tendency to join the idiocy of the music industry and believe that one download equals one sale lost.

It's not about taking a shot and it's not about having something against fansubs or anything. It's just a technical reality that compressed files lose a bit of their quality. It's the same when I watch raw shows from Japan, I realize these lost some of their quality and for that reason I buy the show I really like on DVD.
You are right that on lower end installation this is not so overly clear but on a medium to high end installation you can notice the difference.
