Anime Convention, Hentai, & YOU *points*

So Im still trying to get myself into Conventions. I dont have much money to be going to multiple conventions each year. I have stuff Im saving up for. But this year Im going to a local convention called Oni-Con. Its a Houston Texas Anime Con. Last convention I went to was AKon15 in Dallas. It was great and they had Psycho Le Cemu and Do As Infinity playing live there! It was a fucking blast and I bought a lot of crap there. Spent a good thousand on crap.

Now onto the point of this topic. Im sure you are wondering WHERE I might be going with this since the title has that interesting word in there. HENTAI.

I was looking at the Oni Con website and I saw they are going to have a "Hentai Fest". I have no idea what that might be exactly. But I want to know is this something other conventions do? Cause I have to say, only LOSERs would go to a "Hentai Fest" at a anime convention out in public.

Dont get me wrong. Im no saint when it comes to hentai. But I sure as hell wouldnt be caught DEAD going to a "hentai fest". It's going to be filled with losers who are 30 or 40 and admitting they masturbate daily in their mothers house with no GF or life. You are admiting to the public you are a loser. Im sorry but if you are seen walking out of a "hentai fest" room you are labeled "do not date" by any girl seeing you.

I mean seriously would any of you go to one of these? I certainly wouldnt. What I do in my time with Hentai is my business. Im no SO obsessed with Hentai that I have to go to some "hentai fest". What the hell am I supposed to do there? Look and go "Hmmmm yes this looks interesting. Hmm hmm hmmmm". Wtf.

Tell me none of you guys do this at conventions. :laugh: I mean have some fucking shame people. I just had to rant about this. I saw "Hentai Fest" and I was like "WTF??". My friend was like "OMG! We so got to go to that!" and I was like "HELL no. If you want to you can. But Im a NORMAL person. Im not going to go in a room filled with masturbating losers who are obsessed with porn."

That and Im single. If you walk into a "hentai fest" you pretty much lose ALL flirting rights with any girls.

uh GrnPsycho. There ARE girls who watch Hentai too. It's kewl man.

And those are the kinds of girls who are also obsessed with sex to the point that they arent going to be faithful to you. Yeah. Thats the kind of girl I DONT want de gozarimasu desu!

If you want a sex crazed girl then go for it. I want myself someone normal and modest. Someone with a LITTLE shame on them. :redface2:

So I guess the point of my rant is "Would you go to the Hentai Fest?". Lord knows I wont. But Im probably going to point and laugh at anyone I see walking out of it. Seriously pathetic for whoever would go.

I feel ashamed that my home town anime con is going to have such a thing. -_-

I go to multiple conventions a year. many with Dedicated rooms for 24/7 Hentai, can't say I've ever really gone except for one time me and a buddy stumbled into the room drunk, realized where we were and shouted out. "Any chicks in here" he got a few affirmatives from the darkness, laughed and left.

A tazer, a hearty elbow to the gut and/or a kendo sword would stop that in an instant.

Acen was my first full con after having only been there the previous year for 6 hours only, Reactor will hopefully be my second.

I usually just go around to have fun, meet up with friends and go to the occasional dance. Video rooms I usually avoid because thye never shwo stuff I'm itnerested in. Besides, why go to a con to watch videos when you could just do that in the luxury of your own home?

As for the hentai rooms...Did Acen have one? I didn't even notice/care. My two cents on that: Again, why go to a con to watch hentai when you can just DL it online for free?
