An open letter to HJU

hey, you know how popular series have their own wiki sites ala bleach wikia, naruto wikia, one piece wikia, should people try to create a tokuhatsu wikia or a sentai wikia and a kamen rider wikia?

I've seen a few, the Kamen Rider wiki is so horribly organized and consists of nothing but copy pasta of what the standard wiki says.

Who are these people that actually waste their time bitching about incorrect info on wiki anyways? As silly as this sounds coming from a PR, Sentai, and Toku fan, get a life.

dude I'm always gonna be a dick. About everything. Don't think you're special.

This does remind me of that article I painstakingly layed out for all the morphers in PR...that got merged with the MMPR main page. And by merged I mean all my stuff was deleted and the link was rerouted to the MMPR main page...

I was sad :disappoin

Well, I wanted a serious reply and you were the first one to act like an asshole about it towards me and not treat this seriously.

And I don't know what happened to the Morpher page. Honestly, that sort of stuff would be good for a fansite/fanwiki, for which the Power Rangers Wikia is kinda good. I don't like it because they follow the whims of whatever rumors are coming out of RB at any one time. Tangentially, Fury Diamond needs to be prevented from making "official websites" for all of the cast members every year.

Why aren't you an admin anymore?

I got into an argument with someone who knows nothing about toku yet felt the need to edit every page and enforce every rule, even ones that contradict the other ones if they are implimented. Because I threatened that I'd ban him, I was desysopped.

Also something about revert buttons. That part is kinda confusing.

BUT THIS IS UNIMPORTANT. I was never a mod there. Stop thinking I was/am/will be.

In the case that led me to post this, it was not incorrect info that was the issue. In this case he believed that someone had copied information from his website onto one of the pages word for word (which he was right about and I fixed), and believes that his website should be used as a reference for the article. That is stuff that I do not do on my own and has its own venues in Wikipedia to discuss.

I agree with Ryulong. People shouldn't be asking him to do wiki related stuff. Everyone is on HJU to enjoy the tokusatsu fandom and have the freedom to discuss it with other fans. Ryulong should be able to do these things without having people bugging him about other things he does on the interwebs.

Also, if you want wikipedia editing, do it yourself. Think of it as service to the toku community. Who knows, you might get a medal and a feeling of pride.

That's right. I could use people who know how to read and write proper English. And aren't OMG IT HAS TO SAY THIS all the time.
