Am I the only one who finds it annoying that Rider is more popular than Sentai?

No, you didn't say it was crappy. Others in the thread have, which does raise the question: How can one complain of Kamen Rider being a terrible show, then simultaneously complain of its being given all the best writers, resources, etc. (which should in theory lead to a good show)?

Those are the keywords: in theory. The main complaint from some...or one, is that even with all those good resources, the show turns out bad.

Same here. I hate how the Western toku fandom has little to no respect to Ultraman. Very few subbers wants to sub Ultraman and it's sad too.

So they're complaining that all these great staff/resources magically become terrible when given to Kamen Rider and always make a bad show. Well then, I guess they can't have been that good in the first place, they're no loss to Sentai then are they.

To me, Kamen Rider is over-rated, way too popular, needs to end, IMO. Pokemon and the Simpsons are the other shows I have the same opinion on. Pokemon makes me wanna beat the **** out of my television, while The Simpsons make me wanna take their hearts, stomp them and put them back. These are my opinions on these shows. I feel that a part of KR's popularity (at least in regards to the Western fanbase) might be because while sentai has elements that we are familiar with due to power rangers (suits, weapons, mechs, etc.), KR is a wholly unique product by comparison.

It's perfectly possible that, even if all the best resources are put into something, the end result is bad. Probabilities are low, but it's not impossible.
