All-Star Batman Is Back!

I do agree with pretty much all this. I love Jim Lee's art, but that Wonder Woman looks crap.

Wow, If Skyknight didn't lose all credibility with the TF thread he has now, all star Batman/Robin is crap. massive delays, and over-abundance of exposition boxes, 2-Dimensional characetrs and I swear If I have to hear "Godamn Batman" one more time I'll but every copy of the book to burn it. Miller is over-rated and over-exposed. every time DC gives him some high-profile project he screws it up. this book is Garbage go read All-star Superman or Paul Dini's issues of Detective Comics.

I agree with mattcomics and Megaranger here. Cause I've seen Fank Miller's Batman Year One script... that was not how Batman should be PERIOD. In fact that wasn't batman at all, that was just some stupid, pyscho dressing up as Batman and giving him a bad name. That was no Batman at all.

He can't do any superhero justice from what I'm seeing so he should stay away from them. If it's NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT.

I just read #5 and I tend to agree. Portraying Batman as a brutal, sadistic nutcase just doesn't work. Neither does making Diana a man hating uber bitch.

Although I do like the high heels.

Okay aside from the fact that doing imaginary stories back then had nothing to do with meeting some sort of negativity quota that was lacking, why is it assumed that if someone objects to overkill darkness and cheap shock in superhero comics that they just want the Silver Age back? Why does it have to be one of two extremes? Just because someone doesn't want Batman written as a nihilistic nutjob doesn't have to mean they want Bat-Mite back in canon.

As for lightening the hell up because it's just a comicbook, maybe somebody should tell that to Marvel and DC.

I like Frank Miller, though. I do agree somewhat about his DC (and even Marvel) superhero work, but I think he fares way better with his own original material (namely Sin City and 300).

well I didn't say he should stop doing his own material, I'm just saying he should not touch the Marvel or DC heroes.

Awww, poor little mite got slapped hard when it came to who really knows more about G1 and he's taking wittle pot shots at me for enjoying things he does'nt and enjoying a comic in equal constrast to far better written titles.

Once again, a typical performance:laugh:

**** what anyone thinks. You blindly follow what's "in" and what's "out" like rampant flocks, "Hate Miller this", "Love Bay that", and you can't deal when people say anything different. Serious buisness for serious gentlemen indeed.

Your credibility and class are practically non-existent, even Keith backed up my right to express anything, why the **** should I bend over Brokeback because someone with power wants to feel big?

THIS is why I argue with people like I do in the TF thread Faiz,THIS is why you get me calling people "blindly loyal", people like THIS can't deal with anyone saying something is overrated nor underrated. THESE are people who need to take a good cold look at their faces in the mirror and struggle to figure out the words "evaluation" and respond accordingly.

There's no equality on this board, if you're not part of the "In" crowd, you can't have a respectable conversation with anyone, good job the "in" crowd have about as much tangibility as dentures and are figures of eternal fun.
