All Batman Release - October 18, 2005

I'll be getting them all except Batman and Robin. Worst Batman suit ever! It has nipples on it for crying out loud! The Batman vs Dracula, The Batman is an awesome series and I am gonna start buying the Animated Series - Gotham Knight Volumes cos that's the best series ever! Any news of any Batman of The Future DVDs coming out?

You know what I want to do when I'm in a really masochistic mood one day? I want to watch Batman and Robin with the director's commentary turned on. Mankind has to know what that son of a bitch was thinking when he made this horrible, twisted, homoerotic icecapade fun-fest so that we may never repeat his mistakes.

The weird thing is, Shumacher has made a ton of good movies like The Lost Boys, Phone Booth, and The Phantom of the Opera before and after this dredge. So yeah, I'd really like to know what the hell he was thinking too.

It would only be worth it if Schumacher were completely honest. Besides saying what was wrong with B&R, I'm hoping he gives the details of his fights with Kilmer on the Forever commentary, too, but I doubt he does. Is director commentary ever fun like that? I only find on older movies that weren't as big when the commentary will poke fun at the movie or people will be honest with what they thought or who they didn't like to work with and so on.

The Batman movies are still new enough that I think Schumacher will be hesitant on saying something like "Why is Ahnuld in the pictures? Really? And why does he still have a horrible accent after being in our country for 25 years? And why is Uma so Goddamned awful in this movie? And why does Clooney keep shaking his head around? I'm having the casting director beaten as I speak on this commentary track." But Schumacher ain't cool like that. He was the one that had the idea for the nipple suits. He was the one that had the idea to make B&R a lost episode of the West series. He was the one who went in saying about that movie "We've seen the brooding Batman enough, time to lighten it."

I was hoping for a director/Batman actor commentary, but I guess that was more than WB wanted to put out. I like Burton as a director, but have you ever listened to a commentary of his or interviews with him? Booooooorrrring. He just goes on and on about nonsensical stuff. If Keaton were there, I'm sure he'd have something interesting to say and would always cut Burton off. And Clooney would definitely rip on B&R, because he still does (referring to it as "When Arnold and I killed the Batman franchise.")

I'll definitely buy the Special Edition of "Batman Begins", and "Batman". All I can say about Season 4 is this: :jam: :jam: :jam: :jam: :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

I'll be getting everything listed except for "The Batman vs. Dracula". My wallet will be filing for divorce.
