So in San Francisco, every Tuesday at noon they test the air raid siren. It sounds just like one of those sirens from World War II, except for the booming voice afterwards that says "this was only a test."

This week in San Francisco is Fleet Week, featuring a performance by the Blue Angels. They've been practicing over the city all week, which means that on Tuesday at noon, I heard the air raid siren followed immediately by a trio of F-16s bursting out of the crowd cover and flying directly overhead.

After I crawled out from under my desk, it was hilarious.

That's an infinitly more exciting experience than what I usually get during a regular week. That would sure scare me.

OMG i did the same thing, those blue angels or w/e are really loud from where i am :redface2: San Francisco is such a fun place to live :sweat:
