Accents on Power Rangers under Disney Era

The show's primary market is the United States, so they use American Accent's (unless the character is explicitly written otherwise) since most of the target audience will identify far easier with characters that speak like they do.

:sly:

What the hell......
With all the Hollywood movies and stuff, the whole world is familiar with an American accent, so no one would be as weirded out about it. If all of a sudden the majority of characters in a season had the Aussie season, people would find it a bit weird... obviously they'd get used to it, but peoples ears are more familiar with an american accent.

Tyranno how do you lip read accents?

You look at the lips?
Have you never done accent training? The way the mouth moves is usually the best way to form accents.

I seriously, seriously doubt this is the case with SK though.

I hate to revive a thread like this (i honestly did read it out of curiosity), but I have a genuine question for you, Sentinel King.

I thought you were deaf... how can the accents bother you at all in that case?

Not being mean or anything, it just struck me as odd as I read this thread.

PLOTHOLE!!! :O_O:
