A Question Regarding Your Holy Grail

Before we get to the question, I just want to let everyone know that this is a project for my Statistics Class.

Here's the question: You happen to find your holy grail at a Convention or Store, but there's a catch. It's price is way out of your comfort zone. Would you still buy it?

To me, a holy grail is something that cannot be found easily, not that is restricted by money. If its restricted by money, you can always just save up to get it, theoretically.

Therefore, if I had a Holy Grail (at the moment I don't), and found it, no price would be too much.

well, is this assuming that we do have the money for it, but would rather not spend so much for it? Or is it that we do not have the money and would have to take out some sort of loan or buy it and try to find money afterwards. That really makes all the difference, as I'd say yes for the first option and probably no for the second one

If it's a holy grail, MY holy grail, I spend a bit more than what I am willing to pay to get it, it's not like this will be an ongoing issue, once or twice is fine.

If it's my "Holy Grail" then it would be something i've wanted for a VERY Long time but could never find or had the money for.

But in this scenario, i have the money, and i find it, but it's outside of what i'd normally be willing to spend on one item. I'd go for it!
