A New Metal Hero Series!? What?

I don't think the Beetleborgs Force thing was ever supposed to be more than a toy line. The show was already pretty popular, but there was no more usable footage...well, they could have used Kabutack since they were kids, but I doubt Americans would have liked it. Anywho, yeah, Force was more or less just Bandai's attempt at seeing if they could continue a toy line without a show to prop it up on. They were some super weird designs, though, gotta wonder whose idea it was to just replace Janperson's head with a B-Fighter.

Supposedly a third entry into the Fighter series was being toyed around with, C-Fighter, but that died a pretty quick death after Toei decided CarRanger's comedy and the giant robots from B-Fighter Kabuto would make good themes for a show. (well, the living robot aspect anyway, apparently the toys were the best selling in the entire line)
Toei must've done some real good joints in order to come up with the B-Robo ****. So Toei couldn't have made more series or suits to send over so Saban could've made a third series? If it didn't have a following in Japan but one in a larger market as in the USA, you would think they'd lend a hand at making a co-production like Powered or Great and not let a cash cow go unmilked.

I think Jiban and Jansperson would've both been great as Robocop spinoff adaptations or as one continuous series like MMPR. Not sure how Jiraiya would go over, but a dub would only suffice for such awesomeness. I liked the Force designs and considering how little footage they used from B-Fighter, it would've sufficed as an original third season .

C-Fighter, as in Car Fighter or Cop Fighter ? Or as in Cock Fighter , aka a show based on fighting chickens and not what you think I meant?

You're mixing up everything though. The ones primarily interested in the toy sales, enough to support a show made exclusively for the USA, would be Bandai, not Toei. Now, of course, if Saban paid for fully original footage, they could do it, but Saban has shown, with the Zyu2 deal and the fall of Zyu3, that they weren't willing to pay the full production costs for new footage & designs.

This is why we need spenders ,not cheap asses, to do the show. They all complain they want to diverge from the source yet have no balls to do so.

I don't see how that would be a problem for Bandai to simply manipulate Toei as they have in past with Spiderman and the multiple robots, maybe even more so with other lines.

Also , it's been so long since Saban has had it so maybe they might go the extra mile and do it for the sake of branching away. And with how CHEAP it is to make shows nowadays with semi-decent effects, it is a only the will and whim of the outputting end of the show development (Saban) that is the factor. Hell ,they wasted money making NEW footage and suits for a FEW minutes for christ's sake when a simple dub of the existing footage would've sufficed. That is why the influence Bandai has over Saban and Toei shouldn't be overlooked. If they can get 1/3 of the Japanese footage in the 20 minute episodes for original footage that was their design, who's to say that another 2/3 as in the battle footage couldn't be replaced ?

If Beetleborgs was done today, the third season would've been possible and feasible, even back then, since most of B-Fighter saga wasn't USED. Most of it is American with the exception of a few scenes here and there like the vehicles , but then CG or some American footage was used instead. It was more along the lines that Saban most likely didn't want it to surpass Power Rangers since it was becoming too popular.

Well what about the new Samurai Megazord footage?

And there was Zyu3 footage? :sly:

No, Zyu3 is just concept designs for Thunderzords with the same animals as the Dinozords (instead of Dairanger's mecha), and a compatible Tigerzord.

By the way, Saban got Beetleborgs and VR Troopers back. They and PR will be on Netflix from tomorrow.

Well, that's.....you know, great and all (and kinda sucks because I'm sure they'll be handing out takedown notices on Youtube) but what the hell happened to the old PR episodes being re-aired on Nicktoons?
