a Lupin the 3rd TV series...?

An interview in the Manila Bulletin reveals that GMA-7, the Philippines' leading TV network, is developing a live-action TV series based on the Lupin the Third anime. Richard Gutierrez will play Lupin, while singer and actor Janno Gibbs is slated for the role of Inspector Zenigata.

Yes, Richard Gutierrez will play Lupin. GMA also made a show that's more like a Sailormoon copycat. The name of the show is Super Twins and the main villain their looks like a MASKED Tuxedo Kamen.

That's kewl. I mean, why not? The show was normal enough that you can easily do it in live action and maybe even make it a great TV show.

Its just called Lupin. either its the first or the 3rd beacuse the title didn't mention "3rd". and why no Jigen and Goemon? and did the GMA folks got permission from Monkey Punch (the original makers of both the anime and manga versions)?
