A Little Series Identification Assistance

With Gavan specifically what bugged Glam was that a billion story points were sped by at lightspeed and not one or two but THREE battle scenes back-to-back took up the bulk of the back-end of the episode. After which they told us the status quo of the show (that Gavan is working at that ranch we saw for 1 minute earlier) in a narrative spiel that lasted less than 30 seconds.

But the real tragedy here is that Kakuranger isn't even mostly subbed like Stronger, it's hardly started. Was really interested in that one....and after X Glam has sworn off HK subs.

Glamador will take advice from the people that know, and will give Jetman and DaiRanger until episode 6 before keeping or passing.

I would not suggest Jetman myself.

If you disliked Black due to its story problems, you are going to loathe Jetman. Unless you like a series that focuses on silly inane plots for a string of six episodes then jumps into a serious one out of the blue.


I will note on Gavan's part, it's way more of a fun action movie type of show, where it's constantly going with lots of explosions and fighting and cool dawn of the 80s effects. A little while into the series though they start to settle down and explore the actual story and the characters, and the two parter featuring the Double Kaiju is AMAZING.

But have fun with it.

Again, when Seven comes out, check it out. It may be the oldest show you'll watch, but it's one of the best Toku series made for a reason, and this isn't me being a silly fanboy like saying Seven's the best toku hero.
