If you’ve spent any time around the social medias, you’ve no doubt seen a cartoon strip shared where a bunch of blue aliens with bulbous heads describe a mundane occurrence in modern life with outrageously overwritten dialogue. That’s the gimmick of Strange Planet, the webcomic created by Nathan Pyle, and next month, it becomes one of just a handful of webcomics to rise high enough to get its own animated adaption. (Nimona, the movie that debuted on Netflix last month, also had Web origins.)

I've been a fan of Strange Planet since the first webcomic I stumbled upon. The idea of blue aliens describing everyday life in such an exaggerated way always cracks me up. I was worried about how it would translate to a TV show, but it seems they've found a clever approach with the anthology series format.

The show's lack of central characters and setting doesn't bother me because the humor lies in those quirky alien perspectives. And with Dan Harmon involved, I have faith that the show will hit the right notes for fans like me who love sci-fi and offbeat humor.

Strange Planet is just a bunch of overrated nonsense. The webcomics are nothing more than childish scribbles with no depth or substance. And now they're making a TV show out of it? I can't fathom how anyone finds this funny or entertaining.

The webcomics have been a constant source of joy, and I can't wait to see how they bring it to life on the screen. The teaser promises a whimsical and absurd world filled with aliens exploring our daily lives. With the creative minds behind it and the promise of a delightful palette of pinks and purples, this series will undoubtedly be a hit!

, I've often wondered how they'd pull off a TV show without a fixed storyline or characters. But the decision to go with different alien perspectives is genius! Plus, having the genius of Dan Harmon behind it ensures a blend of humor and sci-fi brilliance that I can't wait to witness.

The show's premise might seem simple, but that's where the brilliance lies – the aliens' unique way of describing everyday things is what makes it so charming. With the lovely pastel visuals and the promise of an anthology-style exploration, this series will surely become a new favorite on Apple TV+.
