3DTV

they wont be re-released. There is an option on the TV that will just make them APPEAR 3D

I'm pretty sure this is not true. For a movie to be 3D it either has to have been filmed in 3D with 2 camera lenses, or be a computer animated movie since the 3D depth data still exists on the production computers. A good example is Disney is working on upconverting Toy Story 1 and 2 to be 3D, but it isn't a matter of just simply sticking the toy story blu ray in a 3D blu-ray player. They have to make a special remastered 3D edition of the movie.

So what you are telling me is..... I can turn my Blu-ray movies... into 3D... and it'll be 100% 3D like that Aliens vs. Monsters movies I tested out at Future Shop?.

No, not like that. It is the appearance of being 3D. It's a cool effect, but barely noticeable.

You sire, are wrong. It is true. However it is not the kind of 3D that most people will expect from it. It does not make things come out at you. It adds depth to the picture making it appear 3D. Keep in mind this only works with the option on the TV AND the computerized glasses. It's a trick effect, and definitely not what people will be expecting when they use it. However, after testing it... it is pretty cool; just not cool enough to warrant buying it
