I didn't see the speech but its pretty clear that our economy is pretty f-ed up. That stimulus check the government gave out, yea, they want that back. Honestly, I don't know if this bailout plan is such a good idea in giving the people who put us in this mess 700 billion dollars.

Well....This from a guy who's been telling us "Oh, the economy is going strong..."

Puh-leeze. Bush has been saying that even though people can see that the Economy is getting roughed up.

I mean...the telltale signs were all there. Rising gas prices ($2-3 back then), Job loss....

They should've done something back then, rather than ride out the Status Quo.

As for this being the 2nd Great Depression....naah.

For as long as people can still splurge in places like the mall, the grocery, or Disneyland, I think that we can still get it together.
