Nothing story-related that hasn't been said on the previous page of this thread, just goes over how his suit works, and says his Rider Kick is Critical Strike. Also even though he does have a weapon, I guess the Action Gamer form has a focus on melee combat, so that's cool - fits the name. There's also a silhouette teased for next month's issue, which is Brave and his chibi form.

Incidentally, I realized now the Gashatto has a little "GD" logo which is on the Gamer Driver as well, kinda makes me think of it as a company name like Nintendo. Would be a nice touch if the same logic is applied to a second belt.

I do appreciate the Gridon-y sized hammer. But you know what I like most about it? It's a sword... and something that isn't a gun! I like swordguns, absolutely, but with how often it gets used, it makes me glad to see them trying a different kind of weapon combo.

GD makes me think of SD Gundam more than anything.

As much as I love swords and guns in Kamen Rider, the fight choreography is always absolutely stupid when guns are involved. There are so many shots where you have a badass Rider posed with his gun and as soon as a fight breaks out, he runs up to the enemy and tries to elbow or kick them.

Sword/gun hybrids are pretty dumb too because I don't remember them ever switching modes in the middle of a fight, which would honestly look super badass.

I can understand that. I've never found myself thinking the hybrid weapons were cool for how they were used in battle, just in concept (and usually in design). I think it's nostalgia bias since I loved the black Ranger with his axe-gun. :laugh:

Ghost had hoodies, Ex-Aid has sneakers, and belts are a staple for every Rider ever... I guess we're focusing on clothing now?

I really like the touch with the Final Fantasy style dialogue box on the first scan.

Have absolutely no clue what to make of the SD Rider thing. I just foresee a lot of really bad CG in the future involving it.
