1st Impressions on Goseiger/How you think it will be

If the writer is the Pocket Monsters/ 5D's writer, I should like this series.

The suit designs remind me of Magiranger, so I should like it...again. They're easy on the eyes, look simple, but at the same time difficult. They're fun to re-create in pixelized form. xD.

That being said, I've only seen the one teaser, so my opinion might change entirely once it premieres.

Japanese fans are still bringing up Gekiranger's writer, Michiko Yokote. I'm kinda hoping it's not her, since I find the Geki characters leave something to be desired. She also said something at the time like "You can't do anything new with sentai," and sounded a bit disparaging, so...yeah, don't bother with her.

This almost makes me think Toei wouldn't bother hiring her again if she makes such comments about Sentai.

I'm really wondering why there hasn't been much news on the staff just yet, I'm really itching to know the names of the writer and composer.

I have high hopes for new writers to Toku especially after what I've watched from Double.

Plus the fact that PR/Disney is no longer a cancer that is attached to Sentai & Toei means I'm expecting anything and everything good and none of this Go-Onger type ****.

What does PR/ Disney have to do with Sentai?

Sentai had to bend around for some stuff so that it could be more adaptable.

Shinkenger was created when Toei and Disney didn't know if it would be adapted, so they added in some stuff that wouldn't be easily adaptable. Now that it's confrimed the adaptation will in, Sentai is able to spread it's wings again with Goseiger.

Well, people are saying that Disney has had it's hand in what Toei does. Not for that long, but for the last couple of years. This has been done so they can have good clips to use for their Power Rangers adaptation the following year. Also, apparently Toei has tried to be nicer with the storylines to help out Disney as well. People are saying this is why Sentai seems tamer then it used too (then again, has it even been "over the top" )

Why would she say that? she's lucky to have even gotten the job, and she's getting paid. It doesn't make a bit of sense to say something like that. :eyebrow: I mean even if she was working somewhere else I'd understand more, but she said that about the company she's working for. lol Wow.

but anyways yeah geki's characters are meh to me also. blue was dry, yellow had potential, but was pretty weak in delivery, I think in screen time also? and Jan..well you all know. They did not have enough gou focused eps and that annoyed me, or enough solo fight scenes. Ken...why was he important again? lol

So far Goseigers shows a lot of promise. Hopefully this will finally prove that Sentai never needed PR to survive.
