Will Ferrell in a sports comedy sounds like a perfect match! I love his humor, and I’m curious to see how he brings a fresh angle to the genre. Do you think this show will capture the same vibes as some of his classic films?

People joke that golf is boring, but it actually works well for comedy because every small mistake feels huge. Will Ferrell also fits this kind of role. The father and son rivalry sounds like it could be the best part if they give both characters enough time instead of making the son a simple villain.I like that they made golf the focus instead of another football or basketball story

I grew up watching Will Ferrell movies, so I will probably watch this. I don't even care about golf that much. The idea of an aging athlete trying to finish one last goal is always interesting to me. If the jokes land and the family story has some emotion, I think this could be one of Netflix's better comedy shows.

This reminds me a little of older sports movies where the main character is already past his best years but still believes he has one more chance. I actually like that setup because there is more at stake than just winning. Lonnie has to deal with his family, his reputation, and even his own pride. I also think putting his son in the middle of everything is smarter than creating some random rival golfer. That makes the conflict feel more personal. My only concern is that Netflix comedies sometimes spend too much time making every scene funny instead of letting the emotional moments breathe. Hopefully they balance both sides well.

I don't know much about golf, but I know Will Ferrell can make almost anything entertaining. If the writing is good, I don't think the sport will matter very much. I'll give it a chance.

The family part is what caught my attention more than the golf. A father trying to prove he still has something left while his son thinks it's time to move on sounds like something a lot of people can understand. I just hope they don't make every disagreement into a joke because that kind of story deserves a few serious moments too. A comedy can still have emotional scenes without feeling heavy.

I can already imagine Will Ferrell acting completely serious while everything around him keeps going wrong. That kind of comedy usually works for me. I just hope they don't rely too much on embarrassing humor. I prefer when the laughs come from the characters instead of random accidents. If they do that, I think I'll enjoy it.
