I'm really excited to see Joe Sherman branching out with PAC-LIKE GOBBLER! His work with Toby the Turtle has been fantastic, and it's cool to see him tackle a classic style like this. The retro vibes are sure to appeal to both old-school gamers and newcomers. I think his unique twist on gameplay could really set this apart from other Pac-Man inspired games.

Are you planning to back it? I’m curious to see what kind of rewards he offers for supporters!

I like how this game focuses on simple maze gameplay but still adds a clear goal with the missing brother story. It makes the levels feel like they matter, not just random stages. I also respect the effort to work around engine limits, because that part sounds difficult and not something casual developers can easily do. The three modes are a good choice too, especially Combo mode since it gives a different type of challenge without enemies. The price feels a bit high for a physical copy, but I understand that small projects often cost more to produce. I would probably go for the digital version first just to try it. Overall, I think this looks like a solid project for people who enjoy classic style games with a bit of new structure added.

This sounds fun but I am a bit unsure about how long it can stay interesting. Maze games can feel repetitive if there is not enough variety in level design. The three modes help, but I hope the stages change enough to keep players engaged. I do like Combo mode though, since it focuses on planning instead of avoiding enemies. That could make it feel more like a puzzle game. The haunted house idea is nice, but I hope it is used in creative ways and not just as a background theme. I think I would wait to see more gameplay before deciding. The digital price is fair, so that might be the safer option for me.

The part about the engine limitation caught my attention right away. That kind of technical problem usually stops projects from happening, but here it looks like it pushed the developer to be more creative. I respect that a lot. The gameplay idea is not new, but I think it is fine as long as it feels polished. I also like that there are no enemies in one mode, since sometimes I just want to focus on movement and planning. The price for physical copies is higher than I expected, but I know these are not mass-produced. I think the project will find its audience, especially among people who like retro style games.

I think this project shows a lot of passion. You can tell the developer really wanted to make something work even when the tools were not designed for it. That alone makes me curious. The gameplay reminds me of classic maze games, but the added modes give it more structure. I also like that Arcade mode still has an ending, since that is not always the case in similar games. The price is the only thing that makes me hesitate. I understand why it is like that, but I still need to think about it. I would probably start with the cheaper option.

I am not fully convinced yet, but I do see the appeal. The idea is clear and easy to understand, which is a good start. I just want to see more variety in the stages and maybe some unique mechanics that make it stand out more. The haunted house theme is fine, but I hope it affects gameplay and not just visuals. The Combo mode sounds like a strong feature though. I think I would watch some gameplay videos before deciding. The digital option makes it easier to try without spending too much.

I actually like that this game does not try to be overly complex. Sometimes simple design is better, especially for maze games. The three modes give enough variety without making things confusing. I also think the overworld map is a nice touch because it makes progress feel more meaningful. The technical effort behind the scenes is something I respect a lot, since it shows dedication. The price for physical copies is high for me, but I understand it is for a niche audience. I would consider the digital version if the gameplay feels responsive and fair.
