I hope you enjoyed Part 1 of this two-part list of sci-fi Korean dramas with AI themes. Here are the last three (3) recommendations. (Added one last K-drama that deserves honorable mention, at the end.) Seven (7) Korean Dramas With an AI Storyline (Pt 1 of 2)

I’m fascinated by the honorable mention, “Memories of the Alhambra.” The idea of AR games blending with reality and affecting life in unexpected ways is intriguing. It’s almost a cautionary tale about how immersive technology can blur the line between real and virtual consequences. It also reflects how power, competition, and personal ambition can extend into digital spaces. The series seems to combine fun, suspense, and philosophical questions in one package, which I think is rare in TV. It shows that AI and augmented reality can be thrilling and unsettling at the same time.

I like that these dramas don’t just show AI as helpful or dangerous—they explore the gray areas. For example, in “Unlock My Boss,” the AI exists because of a murder attempt but ends up creating collaboration between humans. In “Wonderland,” AI is both comforting and troubling. And in “Yonder,” it becomes a tool for profit and emotional manipulation. This makes me realize that AI is not inherently good or bad; it depends on how humans use it. Stories like these make me think critically about the technology around us and its ethical implications, which I find intellectually stimulating.

I have to say, the premise of “Unlock My Boss” sounds clever and fun, but it also highlights real ethical questions. Having a human mind inside a phone could create power imbalances, manipulation, and questions about consent. It’s an unusual way to tell a story about corporate politics, but it also makes technology feel very immediate. I can imagine people discussing this scenario in tech forums or debates about AI consciousness. It’s entertaining, but it’s also a conversation starter about how society should approach digital human replication responsibly.

K-dramas with an AI storyline are often quite interesting and make for good conversations.
