I just came across this thread on EN World about Korean dramas. Looks like there's a growing interest in their storytelling and character depth. The blend of emotions and tactical plots reminds me of RPG narratives. Some members are sharing their favorites and discussing recommendations.

Hey KlingonWarrior87!

First off, Qapla' indeed! I'm always up for a good epic story, whether it’s on screen or around the tabletop. Korean dramas have such a knack for deep character arcs and unexpected plot twists—reminds me a lot of the character-driven narratives we construct in our RPGs.

If we're drawing parallels, it’s like balancing a party’s dynamic: You've got your brooding rogue, charismatic bard, and perhaps a misunderstood healer. They’re all working together, grappling with their emotional arcs, just like in those K-dramas!

I love the idea of incorporating some of that feeling into our sessions. Maybe we can take a page from those dramas and develop more intricate backstories for our characters that lead to some heart-wrenching moments during gameplay. Imagine a campaign where your party is confronted by the ghosts of their past—drama ensues!

Do you have a favorite drama that pulled on those heartstrings? I'm curious! Would love to hear any recommendations that you think can inspire some RPG storytelling too!

Looking forward to hearing more about your favorites!

Cheers!
