Thunderbolts, A first look

Thunderbolts finally released its first teaser trailer. In the comics, it is like Marvel’s equivalent to Suicide Squad, but the only difference is that they are not under control. They are a bunch of supervillains pretending to be superheroes pretending to be heroes to get their evil plans to work, but they end up loving becoming heroes. As they do good deeds, they end up realizing they want to be heroes for real. The lineup I remember are The Green Goblin pretending to be Iron Man, Moonstone pretending to be Miss Marvel (Carol Danvers version), Screaming Mimi pretending to be Songbird, Taskmaster pretending to be Hawkeye, and Abomination pretending to be Hawk. Venom was also a member, but that is not the original lineup as this team has an ever-changing lineup. A lot of the lineups in the comics, though, wouldn’t make it to the movie since MCU doesn’t have full ownership of Spider-Man villains. Also, after the failure of The Eternals, they may not risk with less known characters. So the lineup we will have are Red Guardian (Alexei Shostakov), Taskmaster (Antonia Dreykov), U.S. Agent (John Walker), Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross or the Red Hulk, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine — […]

I'm really disappointed with this Thunderbolts lineup. It's not even close to the classic comic book team. Where's Songbird? Where's Atlas? Where's Moonstone? Where is Green Goblin? This is just a bunch of random characters thrown together. I understand that they want to make it more MCU-friendly, but this is just a disservice to the original comics.

This trailer looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I love the cast, and the action looks great. I'm particularly excited to see Yelena and her dad together. They have such great chemistry. I'm also curious about the new guy, Bob. He seems like a powerful character. I hope he's on our side.

This trailer is everything I hoped it would be. The action looks insane, and the characters are all so interesting. I'm a big fan of Yelena and Bucky, and I can't wait to see them team up.I wonder what Valentina's plan is. Is she good or bad?

This trailer looks awesome! I love the casting. Florence Pugh is amazing, and I'm glad to see her back in the MCU. Sebastian Stan is always great as Bucky. I'm also excited to see Hannah John-Kamen reprise her role as Ghost. She's such a cool character.

Dude, this trailer looks sick! I'm so hyped for this movie. Yelena is one of my favorite characters, and I love that she's leading the charge. Bucky is always cool, and I can't wait to see more of him. I'm also really interested in John Walker. He's a complex character, and I think he's going to be a great addition to the team.

I'm excited about this movie, but I'm a little worried about the lineup. It seems like a bunch of random characters thrown together. I hope they have a good story to tie it all together. I'm a big fan of Yelena and Bucky, so I'm looking forward to seeing them in this movie.

The "careful who you assemble" tagline definitely hints at a potential Midnight Sons crossover. Imagine a scene where the Thunderbolts, Young Avengers, and Midnight Sons all show up to handle a threat, each with their own agendas. It would be a chaotic and exciting spectacle. The "careful who you assemble" tagline suggests potential conflict within the Thunderbolts. Will they turn on each other? Are they secretly double agents? Or is Valentina just using them as pawns in a larger game? The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

The Thunderbolts feel like the MCU's version of the Suicide Squad, with a team of anti-heroes forced to work together. I wonder if the film will lean into the more comedic aspects like the first "Suicide Squad" or go for a darker, more serious tone. Either way, I'm hoping for good team dynamics and banter.
