Ok So I got this this

& I am a bit confused after reading the description & was wondering if someone could help clear up a few things for me . It says there are 15 different types in this one set...

How ever you only get 8 masks in a box?!!? & all the boxes are random right?! So even if I ordered a couple of boxes I may not even get a full set of this wave right?! Let alone the masks that I want?!? :eyebrow: Has anyone ever brought a case or two?! I'm just wondering what the odds are of getting a full set from ordering a couple of cases?! :eyebrow:

I'd hate to order multiple cases & get the same masks in each case:redface2:

It also says there is a secret mask per case so really that is 16 masks per wave right?!

These are like your standard blind box figures, no matter how many cases you get you may not get a full set. It's highly likely that in multiple cases you will wind up with multiples of at least one mask.

Found someone selling them at AFO. Yeah, it's like buying Yugioh cards to find rare cards, you can wind up with multiples of the same mask.

Shocker Mask I think. Apparently the seller claims that it's a 1/5 chance of getting it. Meaning one in five cases.

interesting so a secret figure is not even one on the package hm so buying a box won't get you those light up ones either it is really all random... You wouldn't know where I could find out more about the light up & secret figures would you?

That was the reason I didn't buy those 1/6 masks (would have wanted one for my work-in-progress 1/6 Rider figures). Normally, Gashapons come in sets wherein you have a chance to get any one of the types if you buy the whole box--anywhere from 1 to 3 chances per boxset.

But the Rider Masks apparently mess up the permutation--you not only have to buy two complete pack boxes to get a chance, you also hope that the second pack box isn't a duplicate of your first. So your chances aren't 1-in-15; it's far worse because we don't know how the masks are packed, or how many gashapons were produced by Bandai.

Chance of getting one particular mask = 1 - ((1 - 15)X)
Where X is the number of Gashapons for this series that Bandai has produced.

(My math is pretty rusty, so my formula might be wrong, but you get the idea. It's like spending all your money on the offchance you win the lottery)

welll heck! Guess I should have looked into it more! Anyone know the lowest these things have gone for sale for on hlj?! I think I'll just wait for a lower sale price before I order more.... Long as I get amazon I'll be happy! amazon & deno &I'll be amazed! For the other set I really want sasword& ixa & wing for!

Guess we will see if I "win" Either way from the sounds of it I'll have some to trade if anyone else has any of these or ordered as set & wants to trade feel free to post here!

Just ordered a couple more boxes of each... I should hope I'd be set now for the figures I want at least! so I'll 3 boxes of each I'll deff has extras up for sale here . I wonder how many masks they have done done for all the riders... just how much longer can this series go on before they run out of masks anyone know?! I'm sure they still have a bunch of alternate head/forms to fall back on with newer rider series as well but still
