What Am I made for?
“PUTIN” is scheduled to be released in theaters in January 2025. “Power is not given, it is taken. And once taken, it must be held with an iron grip.” (Guess who said that!) Supposedly “PUTIN” is the real life story of Vladmir Putin, the current tyrannical dictator of Russia (as of 2024), who ensured that he won a “fair” election by any means necessary. Once he was in power he refused to LEAVE! So now even though the citizens won’t say it out loud, likely for fear of being poisoned with nerve agents and ending up like Alexei Navalny or Sergei and Yulia Skripal, everybody is just waiting for him to DIE! Hey! Nobody lives forever! NOT ON MY WATCH LIST!! But if you’re interested, … Slawomir Sobala, the versatile actor who plays Vladimir Putin is being praised for his realistic portrayal of the Russian leader. He wholly immersed himself in the role. In addition to expert makeup and tailored costumes, he underwent a significant physical transformation. He studied Putin’s body language and tried to develop intimate and intricate aspects of the real leader’s personality to make his portrayal authentic. He was very convincing and it was a standout performance. […]

This dictator has been torturing my country for years and I pray that my people will win and stop his evil once and for all. We don't want to join his dystopian country. Ukraine is a free country.

This could be interesting! I'm always fascinated by historical figures, even the bad ones. It'll be interesting to see how they portray Putin's rise to power and his approach to leadership. Maybe it'll spark some good conversations about what's happening in Russia right now. Still, I wonder how accurate it will be.

A movie about Putin? In these times? I don't know... It could be a sensitive topic for many people, especially those with family in Ukraine. I hope they handle it with respect, even if they're critical. Maybe it will spark some honest discussions about the future of Russia.

I genuinely hope the real Putin is defeated because I can’t stand the endless wars and suffering he’s caused. His aggressive policies and blatant disregard for human life have led to so much destruction, especially in Ukraine. It’s heartbreaking to see innocent people caught in the crossfire of his quest for power.

The world doesn’t need more violence or authoritarian leaders clinging to control at any cost. What we need is peace, accountability, and justice for those who have suffered under his rule. I look forward to the day when leaders like him are no longer able to impose their will through fear and force.

Defeating Putin isn’t just about removing one man—it’s about ending a system of oppression and ensuring that his brand of politics has no place in the future. The sooner he’s out of power, the better chance we have for peace and stability in the region and beyond.

This movie sounds like it could bring attention to the harsh realities of living under a dictator, but I hope it doesn’t shy away from showing the damage Putin’s policies have caused. His grip on power isn’t just a historical fact; it’s an ongoing tragedy for many people. If this film can provoke meaningful discussions about authoritarianism and resistance, it could be worth watching.

I’m skeptical about the need for a movie like this. Films have a way of immortalizing even the most despicable figures, and I’m worried this might humanize or even glamorize Putin. We already live in a world where propaganda spreads like wildfire, so I wonder if this is just adding fuel to the fire. Also, the reliance on AI to shape parts of the movie feels like a gimmick. I’m not convinced it’s necessary or ethical to use such tech for a subject as sensitive as this.
