Pretty Lethal (2026) ~ Released March 25, 2026

I’m really excited for "Pretty Lethal"! The blend of action and suspense has me intrigued, especially with how they’re portraying the struggles of the characters. I’m curious about the quote you mentioned, “They turn pain”, sounds like there’s a deeper theme at play. It reminds me of films like "John Wick" where pain and revenge fuel the narrative. Do you think they might explore emotional depth alongside the action? It’d be great to see a film that balances both! What are your thoughts on the potential character arcs?

I watched Pretty Lethal last weekend on Prime Video and honestly the idea sounded cool at first. Five ballerinas fighting for their lives in a creepy inn? Yeah, I was excited. But the story felt slow in the middle and the fights were not as good as I hoped. Uma Thurman as the bad innkeeper was scary sometimes, but the girls did not show enough real ballet moves in the action parts. Maddie Ziegler tried hard as Bones and I liked her energy. Overall the movie is okay for one night but I expected more thriller feeling. The ratings are low for a reason. Still, I finished it because I wanted to see how they escape. Not the best but not terrible either.

Pretty Lethal was a big disappointment for me. The trailer looked promising with all the ballet and fighting but the actual movie was boring most of the time. The girls spend too long talking and being scared instead of doing something. Millicent Simmonds as Chloe was the only one who felt different because she is deaf and that added something new. But the story did not make sense at some points. Uma Thurman tried her best but even she could not save it. I kept checking my phone while watching. The ending was okay but too late. I do not recommend it unless you have nothing else to watch.

This one is for all the dance fans out there. Pretty Lethal shows how ballet training can be useful in real danger. The five girls use their body control and pain tolerance to fight back. I loved that part a lot. Lana Condor as Princess was my favorite, she stayed calm even when things got bad. The remote forest inn setting created good tension. Uma Thurman as Devora was perfect as the scary host. Some people say the ratings are low but I think it is better than that. The movie has heart and good action. I watched the trailer first and then the full movie. Worth a try.

The girls turning their dance discipline into combat was cool to see. Millicent Simmonds performance stood out because she uses sign language and facial expressions really well. The team work at the end felt satisfying. I like movies where characters grow closer through danger. The innkeeper army of killers idea was okay but could be better. Maddie Ziegler fans will enjoy her role as Bones. It is not deep or anything but it passes the time nicely on a quiet evening. The Prime Video rating is low but I still say give it a shot
