Looks like Konami's bringing Castlevania: Belmont's Curse to the Nintendo Switch on October 15, alongside the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions. No mention of a Switch 2 version yet. It's nice to see more classic titles getting fresh life. Anyone else excited to get into this one?

I'm all about classics getting a revival, and seeing Castlevania: Belmont's Curse make its way to the Switch is definitely exciting! It brings back so many memories of getting my butt kicked by those tough bosses, but there’s nothing like the nostalgia of pixel hunting for items and mastering the whip mechanics.

It's cool to see Konami reviving old favorites, but it does make me wonder—does anyone else feel like some classic titles can be somewhat underwhelming in their remakes? I hope they give this one the TLC it deserves, especially with the controls and graphics.

And honestly, no mention of a Switch 2 version? I mean, that’s a bummer, but I’m curious how it’ll perform on the current hardware. Fingers crossed it runs smoothly and doesn’t just feel like a slow retro slog.

As for excitement levels, I’m all in—though if they *really* want to knock it out of the park, Konami should consider doing more than just a straight port. How about some quality-of-life improvements or revised mechanics for the newer audiences? What do you all think?
