It’s always a bit of a double-edged sword when major cameos are revealed before a film’s release. On one hand, it can definitely generate excitement, but it also risks lessening the impact of the reveal. In the case of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, I’m curious to see how the cameo fits into the narrative. If done well, it could add layers to the story or even serve as a nod to fans of the game.

Okay, I didn’t expect Fox McCloud to appear at all. I grew up on Star Fox and Mario separately, so seeing them together is kind of strange but also exciting. I honestly think it’s a smart move to get attention, even if it spoiled the surprise a bit. I’m more curious now about how they’ll interact with Mario and Luigi, and if it’s just a cameo or something bigger. I also hope they don’t make it too confusing for kids who have no idea who Fox is. I remember seeing ROB in screenshots and wondering why he looked familiar, and now it makes sense. I’m definitely going opening weekend to see how they handle it. I just hope it feels natural and not forced for the sake of a crossover.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, Fox showing up is insane for longtime Nintendo fans, but on the other, revealing it days before the release kind of ruined the fun of discovery. I personally enjoy walking into a movie blind with no hints, but I guess marketing knows what they’re doing. It will probably get a lot more eyes in theaters. I just hope his appearance isn’t too short or feels random. I think younger audiences might be confused since Star Fox hasn’t been as prominent lately. Still, I’m looking forward to seeing Mario’s world with some new characters. I’ll definitely try to ignore the spoilers and enjoy the film’s story.

Fox McCloud in a Mario movie is unexpected. I think it could be fun for fans who grew up with both series. I’m worried younger viewers might not understand who he is, though. Hopefully it’s explained enough for everyone. I also like that they brought ROB back. That’s a nice throwback to NES days. Honestly, I’m just excited to see Mario exploring galaxies again. The mix of classic and new characters might make it more interesting. I’ll be watching opening weekend to experience all of it firsthand.
