Ka-eun is goals! From broken to boss. That quote about love not betraying people really stuck with me. Her ex and best friend deserve every bit of karma coming their way. The second male lead is always better in these anyway. Pink lipstick as her power symbol is cute. Watched half on Apple TV, might go back for the ending.

Nah I couldn’t finish this one. Too much crying and suffering in the first half. Betrayal after betrayal got exhausting. When she finally starts fighting back it’s cool, but 149 episodes is way too much commitment for predictable revenge. Jae-beom seems nice though. Maybe good for people who love daily soaps, not for me.

Watched this back in the day and it was my afternoon ritual. Ka-eun’s journey from innocent to unbreakable is inspiring in a dramatic way. Jae-beom’s loyalty saved the whole show for me. The friend Mi-ran annoyed me so much, her fake guilt was pathetic. Still a fun watch if you have time.

This is why I keep coming back to Korean daily dramas. The emotions are huge and the payback is satisfying. Ka-eun didn’t just survive, she thrived and looked amazing doing it. Pink lipstick vibe is strong. Jae-beom is the real MVP. Adding to my rewatch list soon.

This actress has been around for a while. But I didn't really notice her until “Alchemy of Souls”. When I found this K-drama, I added it to the watch list. I love her!

In America, all soap operas are an "afternoon ritual". IT'S TRADITION! I'm thinking it must be like that in Korea, too.
