Roger Jr. instead of Marduk? Really? I’ve waited years for that big Australian dude and they give us another kangaroo. Roger Sr. in cargo shorts is funny for like 5 seconds but come on. Kunimitsu redesign is whatever, she’s still gonna be annoying as hell online. Bob is fine, he’s always been broken in a fun way. The “back to basics” line makes me laugh because they always say that then add more tracking nonsense later. Mystery character better not be another guest. I’ll believe the balance patch when I see it actually help neutral instead of just nerfing one character every three months.

Yo, hear me out on this Roger Jr. thing – I think we've got the grown-up original Roger Jr. as the playable one. It's been years since Tag 2, right? That baby from back then is now this ripped adult kangaroo we're fighting as. Check the trailer: he's got those shorts with a pocket that's totally a pouch, and poking out is the new baby Roger Jr. – his own kid! And that bling necklace spelling "MOM"? Straight up honoring his mom, shows he loves her big time after all the family drama. No way it's just Sr., the design screams next-gen family man. This lore depth is peak Tekken.

Bob being faster than physics is exactly why I love Tekken sometimes. I mean, he doesn’t make sense, but he’s hilarious and actually works. Seeing him strut across the stage while doing ridiculous combos made me laugh so hard. I’m not a hardcore player, but I think this kind of absurdity is what keeps the game fun for casual fans like me. I can’t wait to see people try to counter him online. Also, I appreciate the balance patch they’re doing. Hopefully, it stops some of the overpowered stuff from last season. Even if some of the designs feel over-the-top, Tekken always knows how to make fights entertaining, and Bob is proof of that.

I’m so tired of waiting for balance that actually matters. “Back to basics” my ass, they’ll probably just move numbers around again. Kunimitsu looks alright, Bob is whatever, Roger Jr. is funny for one match then annoying. Mystery fighter is probably another animal or something dumb. At least the trailer looks pretty. I’ll believe the sidestep buffs when pros stop complaining every week. Still subbed but expectations are on the floor after Season 2.

I have to say, seeing Kunimitsu unmasked really surprised me. I always liked the mystery around her before, but the ninja outfit with the teleport flips looks so clean. I’ve never played her before, but this trailer makes me want to learn. The mix-ups seem brutal, though, I can already imagine getting frustrated against her. I’m also curious how the community will react when everyone starts mastering her combos. I feel like this season might finally balance some of the nonsense from Season 2. I’m not sure about the redesign debate; I personally like it. It’s different, modern, but still feels like the classic Kunimitsu vibe. Can’t wait to see her in ranked matches and test out all the new mechanics.

The mystery fourth fighter is what I’m most hyped for. Silhouettes are always fun because speculation goes crazy. I love guessing who it might be, and I hope it’s not another guest character nobody asked for. It feels like Bandai Namco is listening a little more to the fans this season, so maybe it’s a solid original addition.

I’m tired of promises but this one feels different. They actually showed gameplay changes in the trailer, not just character poses. Tracking nerfs, sidestep buffs, cleaner animations—that’s what we needed since launch. Kunimitsu looks like a real threat, those kunai strings are going to destroy people. Bob is Bob, zero shame. Roger Jr. with his dad flexing is hilarious, even if I wanted Marduk instead. Mystery 4th character better not be another boring guest. New stage tease looks nice too. The rock music in the trailer got me pumped. Season 3 might actually fix Tekken 8. I’m cautiously excited.
