Heihachi Mishima: A Resurrected Villain, A Controversial Return Tekken 7 marked a seemingly definitive end for the series’ iconic antagonist, Heihachi Mishima. After a brutal confrontation with his son, Kazuya, who sought revenge for being cast off a cliff as a child, Heihachi was seemingly killed and thrown into a volcano. This dramatic conclusion was a deliberate choice by series producer Katsuhiro Harada, aiming to bring a sense of finality to the long-standing Mishima family saga. However, in a surprising and controversial move, Heihachi has been resurrected for Tekken 8 as DLC. This decision has ignited a heated debate among fans. While many rejoice at the return of the charismatic villain, others, including myself, question the narrative implications of bringing back a character previously deemed killed off. I want Fighting game villains to be killed off. First Street Fighter resurrects M.Bison and now this.
