Anna’s Back: Red Hair, Rocket Launchers, and Really High Heels Anna Williams is back in Tekken 8, and she’s brought a whole new level of “extra” to the party. If you remember her, she’s Nina‘s sister, and they have this intense, never-ending rivalry. Think of it like that sibling feud that got completely out of hand, but with more kicks and explosions. First thing you’ll notice? Her hair. It’s red now, and it’s got that cool, uneven look. Why? Because she’s hiding her left eye with her bangs. Maybe she lost a staring contest? We don’t know. But it looks stylish, so who cares? And her clothes! Anna used to wear fancy dresses, which is fine, but not very practical for fighting. Now, she’s rocking red leather pants, a corset, and a fur jacket. Still fashionable, still sexy, but she can actually move now. And those high heels? They’re still there. Some things never change. Anna Williams trailer Now, let’s talk about her fighting style. She still does those fancy martial arts moves, Koppo and Hapkido. But she’s also got a rocket launcher. Yes, a rocket launcher. In a martial arts tournament. Because why not? It also turns into a shotgun and a machine gun. Tekken used to be kind of realistic, but not anymore. And honestly, it’s more fun this way. If you saw the trailer, you know she even uses a helicopter for her special move. A helicopter! It’s like a superhero movie, but with more high kicks. Here’s a fun fact: the ring announcer in the trailers is Lenne Hardt, who used to be Anna’s voice. Now, Anna’s voice is Tara Platt. So, Lenne is still part of the Tekken family, just in a different way. It’s like a class reunion, but everyone’s fighting. Anna is coming on March 31st, and she’s ready to fight her sister again. What she doesn’t know is that Nina has a son, Steve Fox, who’s also in the tournament. This is going to get interesting. Will Anna win? Probably. She’s got a rocket launcher, after all. But even if she loses, she’ll still look fabulous. Tekken 8 is shaping up to be a truly chaotic and entertaining spectacle, and Anna Williams is guaranteeing a memorable match.

Anna’s new look is giving red Cruella de Vil vibes, and honestly, I’m here for it. The fur coat, the dramatic hairstyle, the attitude—it’s like she’s about to steal 101 Dalmatians and beat you down in style. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the red hair at first, but it actually suits her. Makes her feel even more over-the-top, which is exactly what Anna should be.

Also, let’s be real—the most important thing? She’s still out here stomping on people’s balls. Some things in Tekken change, but at least Anna’s low blow game is eternal. It’s disrespectful, it’s painful, and it’s hilarious every single time. No matter how much chaos they add with helicopters and rocket launchers, watching Anna absolutely ruin someone’s day with a single heel stomp will never get old.

Anna Williams with a rocket launcher? This is exactly the kind of over-the-top nonsense I love about Tekken. They gave Nina guns, so it’s only fair Anna gets her own ridiculous weapon. The red hair is a nice touch too—it makes her stand out even more. I can already hear the chaos online when people start complaining about getting hit with a bazooka mid-match. But you know what? If I lose to Anna, at least I’ll go out in style.

Anna’s always been one of the flashiest characters in Tekken, but this just takes things to another level. I like that they kept her classic fighting styles while adding a new twist with the weapons. A rocket launcher that turns into a shotgun and a machine gun? That’s wild. I just hope they balanced her properly. Tekken has been moving further away from its roots, and while I don’t mind a bit of craziness, I don’t want it to turn into a full-blown anime fighter. Still, Anna players are eating well with this update.

Where’s Josie? Tekken 7 introduced her, and she had so much potential, but she’s been missing from all the Tekken 8 announcements. I really hope they’re saving her for later because I loved her fast, fluid style. She deserves another shot, especially with how polished this game looks.

And speaking of missing characters, where’s Julia? She’s been my go-to since the Tag days, and with all the crazy weapons and action movie-style moves they’re adding, she’d fit right in. She already had drones in Tekken 7—just imagine what they could do with her now! Plus, she’s one of the most well-rounded fighters in the series.

I really hope Tekken 8 finally gives us the moment where Anna finds out Steve is her nephew. Nina has spent years acting like he doesn’t exist, so maybe it’s time for Anna to step in. Imagine the drama! Anna’s whole rivalry with Nina is built on pettiness, but what if she realizes there’s actually someone in the family worth caring about?

It would be wild if Steve ended up bonding with his aunt instead of his mom. Anna might be sassy and dramatic, but deep down, I could see her having a soft spot for him—especially if she can rub it in Nina’s face. Like, “Oh, you don’t want to be his mother? Fine, I’ll be the cool aunt instead.” It would add a whole new layer to her character beyond just being Nina’s chaotic rival.

I keep wondering—is Anna actually blind in her left eye, or is she just covering it for style? Because with Tekken 8’s character customization, we can change her hairstyle, which means we might finally see what’s under those bangs. If they went the extra mile and gave her a visibly damaged or scarred eye when you remove the hair, that would be such a cool detail.

Tekken has always been big on aesthetics, but they also sneak in lore through character designs. If her eye is messed up, it could hint at something major that happened off-screen. Maybe an old fight with Nina left her partially blind? Maybe it’s just a fashion choice, and she’s fine underneath? Either way, it adds some mystery to her look, and I’m really hoping they did something interesting with it.

I’ll definitely be swapping her hair just to check. If they actually included a damaged eye, that would be a sick little touch.

I don’t get it—when did Anna even go blind? In Tekken 7, her ending had nothing to do with Nina, and she was completely fine. She was out there stopping an assassination from Zafina and Kunimitsu while having a red carpet photoshoot. That’s peak Anna behavior. No sign of injury, no hint of any damage to her eye.

And it’s not like Nina did anything to her either. Nina’s Tekken 7 ending was all about Steve finding out she’s his mother, and she basically told him she doesn’t care. Anna wasn’t involved at all. So where did this blindness come from? Did something happen between Tekken 7 and 8 that we don’t know about? Or is she just covering her eye because she thinks it looks cool?

I need answers. If there’s actual lore behind this, I hope Tekken 8 gives us some kind of explanation. Otherwise, it just feels like they gave her an eyepatch style for the sake of it.
