Adjust Your Schedule…Fallout Premieres On Tuesdays Now

If you’re unaware somehow, the second season of Amazon Prime’s Fallout has been just as good as the first if not more so. This was never a guarantee; Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy were behind Westworld before this, which took a dip in its second season…but no dips here. Season 2 has done an excellent job in continuing character arcs, expanding the world, and making already well-defined characters even richer. But it’s suddenly not a Wednesday show anymore. There are just two episodes to go, but for some reason, Amazon Prime has moved their debuts up to Tuesday evenings. You may recall some similar jumping around for Apple TV’s Pluribus but in that case, they were obviously trying to avoid premiering an episode on the same day as a Stranger Things batch and getting crushed by the competition. Prime really has no real threats regarding Fallout. Other than this it’s a peaceful January. We don’t know why they’re doing this, but consider this your friendly reminder, lest you get caught off-guard and encounter spoilers because you were waiting ’til the next day. Sheltered Lucy and grizzled Ghoul have been partners for much of Season Two, at first reluctantly, but eventually […]

Wait what? They moved it to Tuesday? That's annoying as hell. I work late Mondays and usually chill Wednesdays to catch up. Now I gotta rearrange everything for two episodes. But yeah Season 2 is holding up way better than I expected after Westworld went downhill. Characters actually feel like they're growing instead of spinning in circles. Lucy's moral code clashing with Ghoul's survival mode is perfect, and that Power Fist fight was brutal. Hank offering to thaw his family was cold, but it fits the wasteland logic. Hope the last two episodes stick the landing and don't rush the ending. Thanks for the heads up, saved me from walking into spoilers tomorrow.

This is typical Amazon nonsense. They can't just let a good show air on its normal day. Season 2 slaps though, no cap. The world feels bigger, the side stories actually matter, and the Ghoul-Lucy partnership carried the whole season until that gut punch ending. Hank pulling that family card was savage. Mind control chips to stop all fighting? That's some next level dystopia even for Fallout. Lucy better not bend, she's the heart of the show. I'll set reminders for Tuesday 9 PM now I guess. At least no big competition this month so maybe they just felt like it. Still dumb move.

I watch Fallout with my brother, and the schedule change actually caused a small argument because we both forgot. That is on Prime. Still, once we sat down and watched, the quality reminded us why we care. Lucy being captured by her own father feels worse than any wasteland danger. The Ghoul’s choice was painful, but it did not feel like betrayal for shock value. It felt like survival winning over loyalty. I like that the show does not give easy answers. The chip plan is horrifying, but I can see why some people in that world would accept it. I hope the finale does not wrap everything up neatly. Fallout should leave scars

Bro Amazon why you gotta do us dirty like this? I had my whole week planned around Wednesday drops. Now the penultimate is tomorrow and I'm scrambling. Season 2 has been peak though, no weak episodes yet. The way they built up Lucy and Ghoul's bond just to rip it apart with Hank's offer was chef's kiss evil writing. Impaled on a pole is brutal even for this show. Mind control implants to end war? That's some Enclave level madness. Lucy's not gonna go for it, right? She's too stubborn. Anyway, adjusting my calendar now. Don't let me down finale.
