The mix of releases this month is interesting. You have kids’ stories like Cosmic Cadets, dark stories like The Cape, and nostalgic collections like TMNT and Sonic. It shows how varied comics can be. I personally like picking up different genres; it keeps things fresh. Sometimes I read something for the story, sometimes for the art, and sometimes just to see old favorites return. I’m especially interested in how the different artists’ styles affect the tone. It’s nice to see publishers offering a variety of content instead of sticking to one type.
