I wish we can use the Unity Cup UMAs that we will graduate as parents for the regular career mode. Because I would die for having strong UMAs as parents for career mode. Because it's hard to get an A-rank UMA. And you have a quota of 2 UMAs to borrow from friends per day. And being able to make strong UMAs will make your life easier.

Honestly, I’m kind of frustrated that we have to start from scratch again. I spent so much time building bonds and maxing out my favorite Umas in career mode, and now all that progress just disappears in this new timeline. It would have been cool if the Unity Cup continued our existing stories instead of resetting everything. I wanted to see how my trained Umas would grow or interact after everything we’ve been through. Still, I guess something is better than nothing. At least this new mode looks faster and has better rewards, so maybe it won’t feel like such a grind. I just hope it’s actually fun and not another system that sounds good on paper but ends up being repetitive again. If they’re going to make us restart, it better be worth it.

This game feels like a financial assault sometimes. Every update seems designed to make me spend more, and I’m honestly tired of it. I really hope the Unity Cup can be enjoyable without spending extra cash, because I’m already running low on resources and patience. Every time I roll, I keep getting the same Umas over and over again, and it kills the motivation to pull anymore. I wish they would let us purchase the Uma we want directly using carrots or some other in-game currency. That would make things fair and satisfying, especially for people who save up for months. I really hope the Unity Cup is a step in that direction. I’m ready to see new faces on my team and not the same ones I’ve been stuck with since launch.

I never cared about horses at all before, but this game completely changed that for me. I find myself watching the Kentucky Derby and other famous races now, just to understand more about the real-life inspirations behind the Umas. It’s strange because I never imagined being interested in horse racing, but the way the game makes each horse feel unique and full of personality really drew me in. Lately, I’ve even started thinking about buying my own horse someday, just to experience it firsthand. I never thought a mobile game could do that — turn someone completely uninterested into a fan who wants to take part in real horse racing. The Unity Cup just adds more excitement to that feeling. I can’t wait to see how it will make me connect even more with the characters.

This game is so frustrating sometimes. No matter how much I train my Umas, I always end up sent to the glue factory in races. Failure after failure after failure, and yet I keep playing. I don’t know why I do it — maybe it’s hope, maybe stubbornness. The grind can feel impossible, and losing over and over is exhausting. I really hope the Unity Cup is more forgiving this time. Faster training, better rewards, and higher rank opportunities might finally make all the effort feel worth it. I want to feel like progress matters instead of constantly watching my Umas fail no matter what I do. If this mode delivers on its promises, it might finally be the relief I’ve been waiting for.

I enjoy the original career mode, but it can feel repetitive after a while. The Unity Cup fixes that by giving a fresh start and rewards for effort. I like that support cards are more important now, because it encourages thinking about teamwork, not just stats. Having famous Umas like Haru Urara and Taiki Shuttle automatically join is a nice touch. I am curious if mixing smaller and larger teams really affects outcomes. Also, Riko’s presence as a strict leader gives the story some tension, which is missing in the normal mode. I will probably start with my favorite Uma and see how far I can push her rank in the first few runs.

I feel like Unity Cup is the most thoughtful update to Umamusume Global so far. The ability to use Umas I do not own is a big deal. It gives me a chance to test characters I could not access before. Team strategy now feels meaningful, and smaller teams being more effective adds a layer of choice. I also appreciate that earnings apply to the main account, so my progress in this event has lasting value. Riko being the acting chairwoman adds credibility to the competitive tone, and her professional attitude might motivate me to approach training differently. I am really looking forward to November 6 to see if the mode is as balanced as it seems.
