Below is Part 2 of MY 2-Part list of ten (10) of the best historical Korean dramas to watch on Valentine’s Day, in chronological order. Happy Valentine’s Day or weekend! * ❤️ (6) Mr. Queen (2020) A chef from modern-day Seoul falls off a hotel balcony and into a pool. When he comes out of the water, he is in the body of a queen during the Joseon Era. It seems that at that moment a few hundred years ago, she had jumped into a lake because she was trying to commit suicide. Somehow his soul entered her body. He was in shock when he looked in the mirror and in even more shock when he realized he had to sleep with the king! His first thought was how to avoid the king’s bed until he noticed the king didn’t seem to be interested in him … uuuhh? … her. So then he turned his focus on how to get back to his time period and back in his own body. I love that this list includes Mr. Queen! That show had me cracking up, but it also hit deep with the emotional moments. The way the chef’s modern personality clashed with Joseon-era expectations was hilarious, but the romance between him (well, her) and the king felt so earned. Lovers of the Red Sky is another great pick—I was fascinated by the supernatural elements and the idea of fate tying the characters together from childhood. Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist is still on my watchlist, and after reading this, I think it’s time to start!

I've seen a few of these, and I agree that they're all fantastic. "Lovers of the Red Sky" is visually stunning, and the story is so captivating. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable. I’m a sucker for a good historical fantasy romance. "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" sounds like a fun and lighthearted watch. I’m always up for a good romantic comedy, especially one with a secret identity twist. I’m adding it to my watch list.

This is a great list for anyone looking for a romantic K-drama fix. I think "Mr. Queen" deserves all the praise it gets. It's such a unique and entertaining show. The acting is superb, and the story is full of twists and turns. I'm also a fan of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist." It's a heartwarming and healing drama that explores the importance of mental health. It’s not just fluff; it has some real substance.

"Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" is a good example of that. It has romance, but it also deals with serious issues like mental health and social injustice. It's a very well-rounded drama. I think I’ll start with that one.

I loved the way the “stories of the heart” unfolded in "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist."
