Jujutsu Kaisen Cleans Up In The 2024 Anime Awards

Wow! Jujutsu Kaisen really swept the awards this year, didn't it? I mean, nine awards, including Anime of the Year? That's massive! I've been rooting for it since the beginning, and seeing it get the recognition it deserves just makes me so happy. And shoutout to Spy x Family for winning Best Comedy and giving us the adorable Anya Forger, who we all agree needs to be protected at all costs. What a fantastic lineup of winners!

While it's undeniable that Jujutsu Kaisen had a strong showing, I can't help but feel like Chainsaw Man got the short end of the stick with only two wins out of its 25 nominations. That's quite a disparity. I wonder what criteria the voters were using. Nevertheless, congratulations to all the winners. It's always interesting to see which series and individuals come out on top in these awards ceremonies.

One of the aspects of Jujutsu Kaisen that truly stands out to me is how well they handle their female characters. Unlike many shonen series that relegate women to secondary roles or mere love interests, Jujutsu Kaisen gives its female characters depth, agency, and significance within the story. Characters like Nobara and Maki aren't just there to support the male protagonists; they have their own goals, strengths, and challenges to overcome. Nobara's determination and Maki's unwavering resolve are just as integral to the narrative as any of the male characters' contributions. It's refreshing to see a series where female characters are treated as equals and given the opportunity to shine on their own merits. Jujutsu Kaisen deserves commendation for its inclusive and well-rounded portrayal of women in a typically male-dominated genre.

Horimiya winning Best Romance? Now, that's what I'm talking about! I absolutely adored that series – it's got just the right amount of sweetness and depth. And seeing Anya Forger from Spy x Family being named the "Must Protect At All Cost" character warms my heart. It's these little details that make anime so special. Congratulations to all the winners!

Huh, so Jujutsu Kaisen took home the most awards? I guess that's cool, but personally, I wasn't too impressed with it. I found the plot a bit cliché, and the characters didn't really grab my attention. But hey, to each their own, right? At least there were some other winners that I can get behind, like Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan.

Wow, what a night for anime! I'm ecstatic to see Jujutsu Kaisen taking home so many awards, especially for its character design and animation. As an aspiring artist, I draw so much inspiration from the incredible talent behind these series. And shoutout to Suzume for winning Best Film – it must be a masterpiece! Can't wait to see what amazing creations come out of the industry next.

As a budding anime creator, it's inspiring to see the recognition these series receive. Jujutsu Kaisen's success motivates me to strive for excellence in my own work. And the diversity of genres represented – from action-packed adventures to heartwarming romances – reminds me of the endless possibilities within anime. Congratulations to all the winners, and here's to the next generation of anime creators making their mark!

The Vinland Saga is so amazing that it doesn't need any awards to demonstrate it. We are all aware of how profoundly it has influenced and inspired our lives. We do not have any opponents. The prizes aren't crunchyrolls; they're JJKs. I'm disappointed that Vermont didn't win any trophies because they were considerably superior to JJK.
