It’s fast becoming a cliche that if a classic character that has long been under copyright protection is freed into the public domain, the first thing that happens is someone deliberately plays them against type in some kind of horror production. It may not be very original or creative, but it gets attention and that’s what counts.

Well he is public domain now so fair game. Now DC and Marvel are scared because Spiderman, Superman and Batman are about to Public domain

While I appreciate the creativity of turning Mickey Mouse into a horror game character, I hope Infestation Origins brings more to the table than just shock value. It's a unique idea, but let's hope the gameplay and story hold up. Fingers crossed for a genuinely thrilling experience.

As someone who grew up with classic Disney, the thought of a horror game featuring Steamboat Willie-era Mickey is both intriguing and slightly unsettling. It's like my childhood nightmares come to life! Kudos for the boldness, but will it tarnish my fond memories of the mouse?I'm all for indie developers thinking outside the box, and Infestation Origins seems to take that to a whole new level. It's refreshing to see unconventional ideas in the gaming industry. Let's support the creativity, even if it involves a twisted Mickey Mouse.

Indie developers never cease to amaze me with their out-of-the-box thinking, and Infestation Origins is a shining example. This game takes creativity to a whole new level by distorting an iconic image like Mickey Mouse in a survival horror setting. It's a breath of fresh air in an industry sometimes plagued by formulaic approaches. As we celebrate this burst of creativity, let's explore the role of indie developers in pushing the boundaries of gaming norms. How vital is it for the industry to embrace and support unconventional ideas, even if they involve turning our beloved childhood characters into sources of horror?

This game is a wild card – either a stroke of gaming brilliance or a complete train wreck. While the concept of a survival horror co-op featuring a twisted Mickey Mouse is undeniably intriguing, I'm hesitant to pass judgment without seeing some gameplay reviews. Who else is joining me in the "wait-and-see" camp? Let's resist the temptation to judge a game solely by its Mickey makeover and instead discuss our reservations and expectations for Infestation Origins. Are we witnessing a revolutionary gaming experience, or is this a daring experiment that might not land as smoothly as we hope? Share your thoughts and let's navigate the uncertain waters of Mickey's foray into horror gaming together!
