There are a lot of games in the Castlevania series, which means Netflix has a LOT of material to mine for its anime based on it. Slowly, they’re getting there: they adapted Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse over four seasons, and they’ve started a new series based on Rondo of Blood, which made its debut last week. The streamer confirmed today they are working on a second season.

I'm thrilled to see showrunner Clive Bradley and producer Kevin Kolde continuing their work on this series. Powerhouse Animation has been doing an outstanding job bringing the world of Castlevania to life. It's just one of those series that keeps getting better, and I can't wait for Season 2. Here's hoping they keep up the high-octane action and storytelling!

I'm pretty excited about the news of Castlevania: Nocturne getting a Season 2 renewal. The first season had its moments, for sure. The setting in 18th century France during a time of revolution and conflict added an intriguing twist to the Castlevania universe. Richter Belmont's personal vendetta against vampires and his partnership with Maria Renard is amazeballe

Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 is some badass news! I loved the first season, and the fact that they're continuing Richter Belmont's story has me over the moon. Can't wait to see what BLOODSHED awaits!

"I hope the success of the anime adaptations of Castlevania on Netflix will drive Konami to revive the series and make a new game. I'm so sick of Konami not doing anything with great IPs in their library, like Silent Hill and Castlevania. Konami's focus on internationally irrelevant pachinko machines and mobile games that no one plays annoys the hell out of me.
